Short version. One link per partner or placement, a reward per counted membership, a budget you lock, and a live view both sides read.
Members bring members
Gyms, studios, clinics and wellness brands grow through trainers, physios and the member who convinced three colleagues. The referral is already happening at the water cooler and in office groups. What is missing is a fair way to count it, so the trainer who brings ten members is rewarded differently from the one who brings none.
A studio's best month is usually the one after a corporate group joined, and that group joined because one person tried it and brought colleagues. The referral is worth more than the reward it costs, and it repeats: members who are rewarded once for a referral tend to refer again, and the ones who bring the most become an informal sales team the studio never had to hire.
A link per trainer, a link per member
Every trainer gets a link; every member who wants one gets a link. The trial-booking or membership page is the landing page; the booked trial or the paid membership is the result. Office groups and society groups are where the links travel; the live view shows opens by city and who is on the plans page now.
Rewards and the membership maths
A membership worth ₹15,000 a year can carry a ₹300 to ₹500 reward comfortably; the platform's 15% comes on top from your locked budget. Reward the paid membership rather than the trial if trials are free and easy; reward the trial if your conversion from trial is strong and you want volume.
Trainers as partners
Trainers see their own numbers and their own wallet. That changes the conversation from 'the gym should pay me for referrals' to 'I brought four members this month and here is the record'. Reward credited the moment a membership is counted keeps the relationship simple.
For clinics and wellness brands the same logic holds with physios, dietitians and doctors who recommend a service. A link per practitioner, a reward per counted appointment or purchase, and a record both sides read replaces the awkward envelope at month end with something everyone can be open about.
Cancellations and refunds
A membership cancelled in the refund window reverses the result and returns the reward to the budget; the trainer sees the reversal with its reason. Keep the rule consistent and nobody argues.
